This website is operated by Paracas Explorer S.A.C., with RUC [RUC] and located at Av. Paracas Mz. D, Lote 9 — El Chaco, Paracas, Ica, Peru. Hereinafter, “the agency.”
Use of this site and the purchase of any of our services constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Services We Offer
The agency markets and operates tourism services: guided tours, transfers, multi-day packages, and recreational activities in Paracas, Ica, Nazca, and southern Peru.
The descriptions, itineraries, and durations provided are for reference only. Weather conditions, sea conditions, and regulations issued by the Port Authority, Sernanp, or any other competent authority may result in changes to routes and schedules, which shall not constitute a breach of contract.
Reservations
To make a reservation, the passenger must submit:
- Copy of the passport or ID card of each passenger who will take the tour.
- The departure and arrival times of the bus tickets at each destination, or the name of your lodging in Paracas, to arrange transportation.
- A copy of the voucher or proof of payment.
A reservation is considered confirmed only when the agency provides written confirmation. An unconfirmed request does not create an obligation to provide the service.
Pricing and Payments
The published prices are in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated, and reflect the season and conditions in effect at the time of publication.
Unless otherwise indicated in the service description, prices do not include: meals, admission to museums or other locations not mentioned, tips, personal expenses, or third-party services.
Payments are processed through external payment gateways. The agency does not store credit or debit card information.
Changes and Cancellations
Any changes or cancellations must be requested in writing. The applicable conditions are detailed in our cancellation policy, which is an integral part of these terms.
Passenger Obligations
- Please arrive at the meeting point at the specified time. Late arrival may result in the loss of the service without the right to a refund.
- Carry your original ID or passport with you at all times during the activity.
- Follow the instructions of the guide and staff at all times, especially those related to safety.
- Please disclose any medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or pregnancy that may affect your participation in the activity at the time of booking.
- Follow the rules for protected natural areas: do not remove any materials, do not feed wildlife, and do not leave any trash behind.
Minors
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who assumes responsibility for their participation. Some activities have minimum age requirements or physical restrictions; these are listed in the description for each service.
Liability
The agency is responsible for the proper provision of the services it operates directly. It assumes no liability for events beyond its control, such as adverse weather conditions, port or road closures, government regulations, labor disputes, strikes, unforeseeable circumstances, or force majeure.
Nor is it liable for the loss, theft, or damage to a passenger’s personal belongings, nor for any consequences resulting from failure to follow the instructions of the staff in charge.
All passengers are advised to purchase travel insurance that includes medical and accident coverage.
Intellectual Property
The text, photographs, logos, and other content on this site are the property of the agency or are used with permission. Reproduction in whole or in part is prohibited without prior written consent.
Personal Data Protection
The processing of the personal data provided is governed by our privacy policy, in accordance with Law No. 29733, the Personal Data Protection Act, and its implementing regulations.
Governing Law and Claims
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. In the event of any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Pisco, department of Ica.
Consumers may submit their complaints through our online Complaints Log, without prejudice to their right to file a complaint with Indecopi in accordance with Law No. 29571, the Consumer Protection and Defense Code.
