Overview
The 8-day, 7-night “Best of Southern Peru” package combines the coast of Paracas and Ica with the landscapes and archaeological sites of Cusco. It begins with a welcome reception at Lima and an excursion to the Ballestas Islands, a pisco distillery, and the Huacachina oasis, featuring buggy rides and sandboarding.
After the flight from Limato Cusco, the trip continues through the Sacred Valley and Aguas Calientes before visiting Machu Picchu. The days spent at the Mountain of Seven Colors and Lake Humantay feature hikes and high-altitude scenery. On the last day, you’ll be transferred to the Cusco airport.
The itinerary includes two nights in Lima, four in Cusco, and one in Aguas Calientes. Please review the included services and meals: the return flight from Cusco toLima is not included.
Itinerary
Pickup at Jorge Chávez Airport and distribution of the itinerary. After a brief overview of the itinerary, transfer to the hotel to rest before beginning the excursions.

Early departure from Lima to Paracas for a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands. The tour continues to Ica, including a visit and tasting at a winery, lunch, and time in Huacachina for a buggy ride and sandboarding. Return to Lima at the end of the day.

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to the hotel; the rest of the day is free to rest, acclimate, or explore the city on your own.

A tour of the Sacred Valley with stops in Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero, according to the planned itinerary. Lunch is served in Urubamba, and the tour continues on to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll spend the night before visiting Machu Picchu.

Travel by bus to the guided tour of Machu Picchu, following the itinerary indicated on the ticket. Afterward, travel down to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train to Ollantaytambo, with a transfer to the hotel in Cusco. Any additional sightseeing in the town is at your own expense.
