DAY 1

ARRIVAL IN CUSCO

Upon arrival in Cusco you will be met at the airport by our team to transfer you to your accommodation, you will have the day free to acclimatize and do activities on your own such as visiting churches and museums.

  • Overnight in Cusco Hotel Monasterio de San Pedro or similar.

DAY 2

SACRED VALLEY

Early in the morning we will go to your lodging at 07:30 am approximately to start our adventure visiting:

Pisaq, its archaeological site is one of the most important and visited in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is located east of the Vilcabamba mountain range.

Ollantaytambo, during the Inca Empire, Pachacutec conquered the region and built the town and a ceremonial center. At the time of the conquest it served as the fortress of Manco Inca Yupanqui, leader of the Inca resistance. It is the only city of the Inca Empire in Peru that is still inhabited.

Chinchero, the Sunday market, which was originally dominated by the bartering of products among the inhabitants of the area, is now a tourist attraction for its handicrafts and Inca distillery manufactured in the pre-Columbian style.

We will continue to Aguas Calientes for the night.

DAY 3

MACHU PICCHU

The day begins with an early morning ascent to the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas".

A 30-minute bus ride, up 6 km of winding road, to the incredible Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, we will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel.

After the tour of approximately 2 hours, you will have time to walk around the archaeological site at your leisure.

After this you can go down by bus to Machu Picchu town where you will have all the time available to do some other activities, such as visiting the streets of the city, visit the hot springs and relax, also the Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum, any of these visits can be done on your own and assume the cost of income that this implies. Lunch included.

A very important note to take into consideration is that you must be at the train station half an hour before departure. Your return train departs from Machu Picchu Pueblo station. Once on the train, you will arrive at Ollantaytambo station our transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 4

7-COLORED MONKEY

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 5:00 a.m. and then drive for 3 hours to the community of Quesiuno passing through beautiful landscapes, traditional adobe houses and herds of llamas and alpacas enjoying the breathtaking scenery around Ausangate Mountain (6398m / 20991ft), the highest mountain in Cusco.

This is a rewarding place for even the most demanding travelers and hikers, providing unforgettable memories, magnificent panoramas, formidable glaciers, crystal clear rivers, tranquil lakes. This new route is truly unique and is a true adventure through preserved wilderness terrain. Once we reach the top of the mountain, we will be rewarded with incredible views of the area while enjoying the majesty of the red mountains and Ausangate Glacier Peak. You will have plenty of time to explore the area, take lots of pictures before we start descending to our lunch spot and then return to Cusco at approximately 5 pm.

DAY 5

HUMANTAY LAGOON

We will pick you up at your hotel between 04:30 a.m. and 05:00 a.m. - 05.00 a.m. to then travel by transport to the town of Mollepata in the lush valley of the Apurimac River, after a deserved breakfast to fill us with energy we will continue our journey to Soraypampa (3900 masl) after a short rest, we will begin our hike to Humantay Lake, located at 4200 mt, after the ascent of 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately, we will be able to appreciate such a wonderful place and we will return to the town of Mollepata for the hour of our lunch, when we return we will see beautiful panoramic views of the snowy peaks and later we will be transferred to our city of Cusco at 5:00 pm approximately:00 pm approximately. Transfer to your lodging.
