Paracas Ica Nazca 2 days 1 night (Land tour)
Description
DAY 1
The start of the package will be from the pick up at the bus station in Paracas where our driver will wait for you with a sign bearing your name, we will continue with the transfer to our office which is not far from the bus station 5 minutes by car.
You will be cordially and kindly received in our office by one of our representatives to be informed about the itinerary to follow.
The tour begins with a visit to the Ballestas Islands, our first point of visit will be the Candelabro located in the Paracas peninsula, then continue to the islands where we can see rock formations, while the guide will explain about the flora and fauna found in the area, you can see animals such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins and some types of birds like boobies, guanay, cormorants, curlews, among others. At the end of the tour we will return to the starting point in the Chaco.
We will have a free time of approximately 1 hour which can be used to walk along the boulevard of Chaco where you can see many craft stores. Then we will meet again at the Paracas Explorer office for the transfer to Ica.
Ica is located 1 hour and 20 minutes from Paracas when you arrive you will start the city tour that includes a visit to the wine cellar where you can learn a little about the production of wines and piscos, then continue to the Plaza de Armas of Ica, where we will appreciate the 2 beautiful obelisks representing the 2 great cultures that flourished in the department of Ica and the Sanctuary of Luren (panoramic view) Finally we will continue the tour to the Oasis of Huacachina, Beautiful lagoon full of history and traditions that will surprise you, no doubt you can enjoy a beautiful landscape and if you like adrenaline is your chance to take advantage of the fun tubular ride and the board ride on the dunes, once the tour is over we will transfer you to the bus station so you can take your ticket to Nasca.
You will be received at the bus station by one of our representatives who will take care of transferring you to the chosen lodging so that you can rest after a long day.
Day 2
The next day in the morning you will have the necessary time to enjoy breakfast at the hotel (it is recommended to be at 8:00 am) because you must be ready for your next adventure we will visit the metallic viewpoint of the Nasca lines where you can see some figures these geoglyphs include animals and plants.
Then we will continue to the cemetery of Chauchilla is located about 30 km from the city of Nazca on the right bank of the valley Las Trancas. It is the only cemetery in Peru that allows to appreciate the mummies in their original tombs that have allowed to reconstruct the history, the environment, the daily life, the uses and the pantheistic customs of this civilization swallowed by the sands of the Peruvian desert. It is one of the largest with a length of 2 kilometers, here we will see 12 tombs, you will be able to observe the original constructions of tombs, mummies, ceramics and textiles with an approximate antiquity of a thousand years. You will be able to see individual and collective tombs; we will be able to observe the mummification process that the ancient Nazca used to preserve the bodies.
Afterwards we will visit the Textile Workshop, you will be able to observe how the Nazca artisans still use the techniques of their ancestors to weave with fine threads. You will have time for lunch and finally you will be transferred to the Nasca bus station.
