DAY 1
UROS AND AMANTANI
On this tour we will first visit the floating islands of the Uros taking a comfortable boat from the port of Puno (30 minutes) after visiting 2 floating islands we will continue the trip to the island of Amantani (2 ½ hours) we will arrive at the average of half a day, where we will be cordially received by the local families.
Accompanied by the families we will make a walk of (30 mins uphill) to the local houses of Amantani Island, where we will have lunch of typical Andean food of the island. After settling in and resting we will hike to the top of the island to visit the Inca ceremonial temples Pachamama and Pachatata,
After appreciating the beautiful views of the lake and its splendor, we will wait to see one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Finally we will return to have dinner at the local houses, during the night the families will organize a welcome party (optional) where we will be able to dance and dress the local costumes all this accompanied by local musicians.
DAY 2
AMANTANI AND TAQUILE
We start the day having a typical breakfast and then descend to the port of Amantani (8 am), we will take our boat to the island of Taquile, we will walk uphill to the main square, from where we can observe the island and learn more about the customs and textiles of the island, after lunch we will descend to the port of Taquile (01:00 pm.) To return to Puno where we will arrive at about 03:30 pm.

Tour the island of Amantani, we will move to the homes of the villagers where they will be assigned a family with whom we will share customs and food. The people of Amantani are of Quechua origin and are mainly small farmers. The houses are very simple and the services are basic. There is no drinking water, no electricity and certainly no comfortable bathrooms or showers.
