15:30 pmArrivaland guided tour of Sillustani (1 1/2 hours).
We will arrive at the peninsula of Sillustani where we will begin our journey in the company of our guide who will explain to us about the mystical beliefs that the Puna ancestors had about life after death while we observe the great funeral towers known as Chullpas.
16:30 pmAfterthe tour we will return to Puno where we will visit a typical family farm.

Description
Sillustani is located 34 km from the city of Puno, approximately 40 minutes from Puno, the duration of this tour is 3 1 / 2 hours.
The different Chullpas or funeral towers rise up to 12 meters high and belong to pre-Inca and Inca cultures. They are located in a small peninsula surrounded by the Umayo lagoon from where we can appreciate all its natural beauty as well as the architecture and engineering of the time.
In each tower the remains of noble men were found, buried along with offerings to ensure their passage to another life.
Especially near the tower or chullpa of the lizard was found the royal trousseau of a nobleman with more than 500 pieces of gold, these pieces are displayed in the Carlos Dreyer Museum in the city of Puno.
