Overview
The 2-day, 1-night trek through the Colca Canyon departs from Arequipa and begins with a stop in Chivay and at the Cruz del Cóndor. From Pampa San Miguel, the trail descends toward San Juan de Chuccho and continues to the Sangalle oasis, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.
The second day begins at dawn with the ascent to Cabanaconde. After breakfast, the return trip offers a chance to see other landscapes in the valley, with an optional visit to the hot springs and stops along the route to Arequipa.
It includes two breakfasts, one lunch, and one dinner, as well as one night in bungalows with private bathrooms at Paraíso Las Palmeras Lodge in Sangalle. The tourist ticket, the hot springs, beverages, and the final lunch in Chivay are not included.
